De Nederlandse Tessa Wagenvoort stelt met ‘Blauwe Maan’ een collectie voor om bij weg te dromen. De collectie is geïnspireerd op het wondere verschijnsel van luminescentie oftewel, het verschijnsel waarbij een stof door toevoeging van energie zoals warmte of elektriciteit zichtbaar licht uitstraalt. En dat is ook wat haar ontwerpen doen, ze stralen een zekere lichtheid uit die je doet glimlachen. Om dit effect te bekomen gebruikte Tessa oude fotografietechnieken. Resultaat: Een vrouwelijke collectie met bijzondere prints.
With her Blue Moon collection the Dutch designer Tessa Wagenvoort hypnotises us. The collection is inspired by the wonderful phenomenon of luminescence, that is the effect you get when energy like heat or electricity is added to a fabric making it shine noticeably. And that is what her designs do, they shine in a way that makes you smile. To get this effect Tessa uses old photographic techniques. The result is a feminine collection with remarkable prints.
